Policy research and campaigns
As well as helping individuals by giving them advice about their particular situation, we campaign locally and nationally for change on the issues and policies that affect people’s lives. You can find out more about current issues of concern at our national campaigns website.
Annual events
Each year, Citizens Advice Teignbridge hold a research and campaigns event to bring together anyone interested in or working in the areas we highlight.
In 2016, a panel of guest speakers gave presentations on the theme of Families and Welfare Reform at The Pavilions in Teignmouth.
In November 2017 we ran a workshop on Disability Benefits and Requests for Medical Evidence.

Our project on Medical Evidence in support of PIP and ESA claims
Our Health and Disability Team plans to expand our work in 2018 on this important aspect of assisting applicants with disabilities to access the benefits they are entitled to without undue stress or delay.
